About Maintenea
Last updated:
Maintenea is a free workout log: a web app for recording strength sessions set by set, logging stretching, and tracking body progress. It is built and run by one person.
Who is behind it
Alexandr Rešetňak, a software developer from the Czech Republic (resetnak.cz). There is no company and no investor behind it. The app replaced spreadsheets in which training records slowly fall apart. Instead: every set logged as you train, stretching next to the lifts, weight and measurements on one timeline.
Principles
- Free, no ads, no paid tier. The author pays for hosting.
- No tracking without consent; Google Analytics loads only after you accept cookies.
- Your data is yours: JSON export and account deletion are one click away in the settings.
- The app and its database run on servers in the European Union.
Technology
Symfony API (PHP), Vue 3 progressive web app (PWA), PostgreSQL. It runs in the browser on desktop and phone; on a phone you can add it to the home screen and use it like a native app. The interface is available in English and Czech.
